Dorr Street Cafe is a cafe in Toledo, Ohio. It is listed at 5243 Dorr St, Toledo, OH 43615, which places it among the local businesses of Toledo that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bakery, american restaurant, coffee shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Toledo is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Toledo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The food is good, but it will take a long time. I come here all the time and I’m always happy but the last time I came the bar tender behind the bar named Bre reminded me constantly that she doesn’t like making long Islands or Long Beaches. I literally watched 40 people come in and sit down so I tried to cash out and Bre refused to cash me out. She made me wait on my server that was working so hard that she was sweating. It took me 45 minutes to be cashed out. If you come when the white guy is behind the bar you won’t wait long. I think his name is Charles. He’s quick and friendly. If you come when a mixed looking girl is behind the bar she will roll her eyes when you order a Long Island. She not helpful or accommodating. We ended up leaving after one drink. The owners are super nice, but they really need to reevaluate who they hire and it’s always very hot. When you tell the servers or bartenders that it’s hot, they just shrug their shoulders. With it being 100° all the time and no AC. You probably should not be having drinks at this establishment. Winter time might be best.

What’s on my mind? Well, I very rarely frequent Dorr Street Cafe. The few times that I have since the new owner has taken over, have been horrible. It took us over an hour to get our food and only two of us ordered because the other parties and our table left because they didn’t have what they wanted to eat because they were out of it. Not to mention they were over capacity for the building, but yet they allow multiple people to continue coming in and booking two parties in one day. The food was very small amounts, but have increased in their prices. The ranch dressing is definitely different and is not as good as it used to be. It was such a huge disappointment. The service was extremely slow. I will never eat there again and I do not recommend it anymore to anyone.!

Unfortunately I suggested the Dorr Street Cafe to my Family for Our Mothers Day Lunch and I was sadly disappointed. I assured them the food was good and it used to be but not anymore. I have been there for lunch multiple times in the past 20 years and the service, time to wait for the meal and the food were always good. Not this time! We waited quite awhile for the food to be served and their was 8 of us eating, the food was brought out about 3 orders at a time and 1 person that got their food in the first group still had not gotten the order of fries they ordered after everyone was half done eating. There were items on the menu that weren't available. The people that ordered chicken chunks said they were salty and when they got the ranch dressing they ordered it didn't really taste much like ranch dressing. I ordered the grilled chicken Reuben and after having it in the past I was very disappointed. The chicken breast used was smaller than before, the dressing used was not as before, the usual Thousand Island dressing is not that anymore. I also ordered the onion rings which used to be very good, real onion rings dipped in batter and fried, they're no longer that! They are now pac

I really like the food here, however I realized that you can not trust the menu prices. I thought the southern Ruben was only 11.25 per the menu price. Got the bill and it was 15.90. Did not expect that difference. Taylor our server was awesome she did a great job. Because I like the food I will most likely go back just gonna have to remember to ask if the price is right.

Some of the strongest margaritas I’ve tasted! I really enjoy their sandwiches (Reuben’s and melts). It’s a high key low key spot..you’ll enjoy
